I didn’t write this to mock God, or you, or anyone.

I wrote this because I love God.

Knowing and following God has been my single greatest passion and quest in life.

And because I spent most of my life worshiping a version of God that not only didn’t make sense, but left me constantly seeking and frankly, pretty miserable—but I was too conditioned to question it all the way.

I was told that faith meant believing in a divine plan where God had to murder His own Son because of me. That I was so broken, so sinful, so inherently unworthy from birth… that only some ritual blood sacrifice could cover the stain of my existence. And that the more uncomfortable it made me feel, the holier it must be.

This one narrative stayed constant through all of my searching and religion-hopping.
